About Me
Bednark Studios was contracted to engineer & build the interior furnishings for the Acne Studios flagship Soho store on Greene St. The space is designed with a hyper-minimalist industrial aesthetic, meant to provide a sleek yet subdued backdrop to display the collection. The fixtures consist of two styles of display tables, benches, stools, & a cash desk. All elements are built out of stacked MDF & skim coated to replicate a cast concrete look. I was responsible for engineering the firtures, producing client & shop facing drawings for fabrication & producing cutfiles for our CNC department.
The store re-opened its doors to the public on December 10th, 2021.
